یہ حضرت محمد ﷺ کی مختصر تاریخ ہے: --- پیدائش حضرت محمد ﷺ 570ء میں مکہ مکرمہ (سعودی عرب) میں پیدا ہوئے۔ یہ سال عام الفیل کے نام سے مشہور ہے، جب یمن کے بادشاہ ابرہہ نے خانۂ کعبہ پر حملہ کرنے کی کوشش کی تھی۔ آپ کے والد عبداللہ آپ کی ولادت سے پہلے ہی وفات پا گئے تھے، اور والدہ آمنہ آپ کے بچپن میں ہی انتقال کرگئیں۔ پرورش آپ ﷺ کی کفالت پہلے دادا عبدالمطلب اور پھر چچا ابوطالب نے کی۔ بچپن میں سچائی، امانت اور دیانت داری کی وجہ سے لوگ آپ کو "الامین" اور "الصادق" کہتے تھے۔ جوانی آپ ﷺ نے تجارت کی اور اپنی سچائی و دیانت کی وجہ سے حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے آپ سے نکاح کیا۔ اس وقت آپ کی عمر تقریباً 25 سال تھی۔ نبوت 40 سال کی عمر میں، غارِ حرا (جبل نور، مکہ) میں آپ پر پہلی وحی نازل ہوئی۔ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام آئے اور سورۃ العلق کی ابتدائی آیات پڑھوائیں۔ اس کے بعد آپ ﷺ نے توحید، عدل، رحم اور اخلاق کی دعوت دینا شروع کی۔ مکہ میں دعوت ابتدا میں خفیہ طور پر اور پھر کھلے عام اسلام کی تبلیغ کی۔ مکہ کے سرداروں نے مخالفت کی اور مسلمانوں پر ظلم ڈھائے۔ ہجرت مکہ میں حالات سخت ہونے پر آپ ﷺ اور مسلمان مدینہ ہجرت کرگئے (622ء)۔ یہ ہجرت اسلامی تقویم (ہجری سال) کی بنیاد ہے۔ مدینہ کی زندگی مدینہ میں اسلامی ریاست قائم کی، مسجد نبوی بنائی، اور عدل و مساوات پر مبنی معاشرہ تشکیل دیا۔ آپ ﷺ نے مدینہ کے مختلف قبیلوں اور یہودیوں سے معاہدے بھی کیے۔ جنگیں مشرکین مکہ نے کئی بار حملے کیے، جن میں غزواتِ بدر، اُحد اور خندق شامل ہیں۔ ان میں مسلمانوں کو کئی آزمائشیں پیش آئیں مگر اسلام کی دعوت پھیلتی گئی۔ فتح مکہ 8 ہجری میں (630ء) آپ ﷺ اور مسلمانوں نے بغیر خون بہائے مکہ فتح کیا۔ آپ ﷺ نے دشمنوں کو عام معافی دی اور خانۂ کعبہ کو بتوں سے پاک کیا۔ آخری خطبہ حجۃ الوداع (632ء) کے موقع پر آپ ﷺ نے آخری خطبہ دیا، جس میں انسانیت، مساوات، عورتوں کے حقوق اور اسلام کے بنیادی اصول بیان کیے۔ وصال 632ء (11 ہجری) میں آپ ﷺ مدینہ منورہ میں وفات پاگئے اور مسجد نبوی کے اندر ہی مدفون ہیں۔ --- کیا آپ چاہتے ہیں کہ میں اس تاریخ کو ایک ٹائم لائن (تصویری شکل) میں بنا دوں تاکہ آپ آسانی سے سمجھ سکیں؟ Here’s a brief history of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in English: --- Birth Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was born in 570 CE in Makkah (present-day Saudi Arabia). This year is known as the Year of the Elephant, when a Yemeni ruler, Abraha, attempted to attack the Kaaba. His father, Abdullah, died before his birth, and his mother, Amina, passed away when he was very young. Upbringing He was raised first by his grandfather Abdul Muttalib and then by his uncle Abu Talib. Even as a boy, he was known for his honesty and trustworthiness, earning the titles “Al-Amin” (The Trustworthy) and “As-Sadiq” (The Truthful). Youth Muhammad ﷺ worked as a trader. His honesty impressed Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), a respected merchant, who later married him. He was 25 at the time. Prophethood At the age of 40, while meditating in the Cave of Hira near Makkah, he received his first revelation through Angel Jibreel (Gabriel). The opening verses of Surah Al-Alaq were revealed to him. After this, he began calling people to worship one God, to justice, mercy, and good morals. Call in Makkah At first, the message was private and then public. The leaders of Makkah opposed him and persecuted his followers. Migration (Hijrah) Due to increasing oppression, he and his followers migrated to Madinah in 622 CE. This migration marks the start of the Islamic calendar. Life in Madinah In Madinah, he established an Islamic state built on justice and equality, built the Prophet’s Mosque, and made treaties with local tribes and Jewish communities. Battles The Quraysh of Makkah launched several attacks (notably the Battles of Badr, Uhud, and the Trench). Despite hardships, Islam continued to spread. Conquest of Makkah In 630 CE, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Muslims peacefully conquered Makkah. He granted a general amnesty and cleansed the Kaaba of idols. Final Sermon During his Farewell Pilgrimage (Hajjat al-Wadaʿ) in 632 CE, he delivered his famous sermon emphasizing human equality, justice, and the rights of women. Passing In the same year (11 AH / 632 CE), Prophet Muhammad ﷺ passed away in Madinah.
